Rogers Unlikely to Start, but Will See Action

Although forward Rodney Rogers had his best game since losing his starting job to Charles Outlaw in Saturday’s 91-85 loss to the Detroit Pistons, scoring 17 points and grabbing eight rebounds, Coach Bill Fitch doesn’t plan to put him back into the starting lineup.
“I like what he’s doing right now,” Fitch said. “We had a good look at him at the center position. He can play three positions. He’s going to get his minutes.”

Fitch is concerned about center Lorenzen Wright, who had five points and two rebounds in 17 minutes in the loss to the Pistons.
“I’ve been worried about Lorenzen all year because we know that he’s a power forward just learning to play bigger people and in most cases more experienced people,” Fitch said.
