Tagoa’i, a freshman from Vista High, had a first, second and third as Saddleback won the Orange Empire Conference dual-meet title last week. He had a personal-best 21 feet in the long jump to win. He went 43-11 1/2 in the triple jump to place second, and was third in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.3 seconds. Saddleback beat Riverside, 83-73, to finish 7-0 and earn its first title in nine seasons.
