A Little Boy Hurt by Pop Psychology

Re “Who Killed David Polreis?” (Feb. 21). Weld County, Colo. Dist. Atty. A.M. Dominguez deserves the highest praise for his perseverance in forcing Renee Polreis to stand trial for the savage beating death of her 2-year-old son. This tiny boy, still in diapers, never had a chance after being cruelly labeled and demonized by pop behaviorist mumbo jumbo.
Nothing this child could possibly have done can explain, let alone excuse, his horrible, senseless death. In a society where child abuse and infanticide are at an all-time high, the idea of Renee Polreis being viewed as a sympathy figure is truly frightening.
