I wish to tell you how much I enjoyed the article “An Affordable Apartment in Rome” (Feb. 23) by Ellen Melinkoff.
I found her travelogue to be informative with a true touch of humanism. It was easy reading and enabled me to feel I was there alongside Ellen and her son, seeing all that they saw, feeling all that they felt, engulfing the full flavor of their holiday in Trastevere.
