Actor Pleads Guilty to Drunk Driving Charges

Actor Jan-Michael Vincent pleaded guilty Thursday to misdemeanor drunk driving and driving with a suspended license stemming from an Aug. 26 accident in Mission Viejo in which he suffered a broken neck.
Vincent, 52, who had pleaded not guilty to the same charges two months ago, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 at the time of the accident, authorities said.
Vincent was driving a 1988 Mazda when it rear-ended a car driven by his 28-year-old girlfriend, Nicole Michelle Wallace. The Mazda then careened into a pole, authorities said. Wallace and her two children were unhurt.
Vincent, who is best known for his lead role in the television series “Airwolf,” has recovered from his injuries.
On Thursday, he was ordered to complete a six-week, live-in alcohol program, attend a nine-month outpatient program and pay a $2,000 fine, Deputy Dist. Atty. Matt Murphy said.
