Bellevue, Wash.-based Quality Foods Centers Inc. said it completed its $365-million purchase of closely held Irwindale-based Hughes Family Markets chain that includes 57 supermarkets in Southern California. . . . Santa Clara-based McAfee Associates Inc. said it hired Zach Nelson, former Oracle Corp. vice president of marketing, as the head of its network management software business. McAfee is best-known for its virus-detection software.
