Disaster Preparation Class Offered by City
- Share via
Even if Moorpark has been blissfully free of earthquakes, fires and floods this year, city officials want to make sure residents don’t forget how to deal with disaster.
Starting April 3, the city will sponsor a free disaster preparedness class. The seven-week course will train Moorpark residents to prepare their homes for disasters, assess damage afterward, fight fires and search for people who may be injured or lost.
The class will meet once each week. Registration is limited, so call 529-6864, ext. 426 to reserve a place in the class.
