Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Identified

A motorcyclist who died Sunday after a collision with a car on a two-lane highway in Palmdale has been identified as 27-year-old Troy Taylor of Phoenix, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported Monday.
No charges are pending in the collision, which occurred Sunday afternoon on California 138 near 228th Street.
Taylor was traveling west when he moved into the eastbound lane to pass slower traffic and was struck head-on by an oncoming car.
