Union Pacific Sets Crossing Upgrades

Union Pacific Railroad will upgrade five railroad crossings in the city beginning Saturday.
Concrete panels with rubber inserts will be installed at Euclid Street north of Bastanchury Road; Hermosa Drive east of Harbor Boulevard; Parks Road north of Bastanchury; Malvern Avenue west of Bastanchury, and Laguna Road at Domingo Road.
The city will close the crossings while the work is being done: next Saturday from 3 a.m. to 11 p.m. April 6 for Euclid; 1 a.m. April 7 to 4 p.m. April 9 for Hermosa; 3 a.m. April 9 to 4 p.m. April 11 for Parks; 3 a.m. April 12 to 11 p.m. April 13 for Malvern; and 3 a.m. April 8 to 4 p.m. April 10 for Laguna.
