Escobar Pitches 1-0 Masterpiece

NEWHALL — Jason Freeman hit a two-out, run-scoring double in the sixth inning Wednesday to give The Master’s College a 1-0 victory over Westmont in a nonconference game.

Ruben Escobar pitched a two-hitter for the Mustangs (22-25) that was preserved when right fielder Jim Young threw out a runner at the plate to end the game.
