Brown Disc Products Company Inc.: The Santa Ana company said it lost $205,054 for the third fiscal quarter ended March 31, including $190,432 for inventory write-downs and legal and professional expenses associated with failed acquisition attempts during the prior two quarters. The company also incurred expenses of $12,201 and a loss of revenue during the first week of March when it moved its operations from Colorado to California. Revenue totaled $345,560. In March, Brown Disc decided to change its main business from that of distribution and duplication of computer data storage media products to manufacturing quartz-glass products used for the semiconductor industry.
