For the third season in a row, the Southern California College men’s tennis team has received a bid to the NAIA Championship tournament.
The tournament is Monday through May 24 in Tulsa, Okla. The Vanguards, ranked 21st in the NAIA, finished 11th last season.
SCC is led by No. 1 singles player Nan Ma, a redshirt freshman from Beijing, and No. 2 Brian Matek, a transfer from Saddleback College.
The Vanguards finished third in the Golden State Athletic conference and fourth in the NAIA Far West Regional. They are one of four GSAC teams to qualify for the national tournament.
