City Councilwoman Gets Business Award

Anaheim City Councilwoman Shirley McCracken has been recognized as Business Associate of the Year by the American Business Women’s Assn. Anaheim Lamplighters Chapter.
McCracken, who holds a master of science degree in mathematics, recently received the award at the chapter’s meeting at the Disneyland Hotel.
McCracken, elected to the council last year, is self- employed as a management training consultant and is a former Anaheim teacher. For more than 20 years, she has been active in church and community service groups.
The Lamplighters Chapter brings together women of diverse occupations to provide opportunities for members to help themselves and others personally and professionally.
