Columbia TriStar Home Video, ShadowCatcher Entertainment and independent producer Larry Estes have created SearchParty, a new mentoring program that will provide production and distribution funding for feature film projects with budgets of about $1 million.
The program is now accepting applications in the form of brief written pitches supported by information about applicants’ filmmaking experience. After a semifinalist phase involving screenplays and interviews, finalists will be selected on “merit, creative content and commercial potential.”
For information and applications, write to SearchParty, c/o ShadowCatcher Entertainment, 400 E. Pine St., Suite 315, Seattle, WA 98122.
Information is also available via the World Wide Web at https://www.searchpartyfilm.com.
