Six area City Section boys’ soccer teams have won section titles since competition began with the 1971-72 season.
Poly (1979, 1980) and Kennedy (1982, 1985) have each won twice, while San Fernando (1973), Chatsworth (1991), Reseda (1988) and Cleveland (1983) each have one title.
Girls’ soccer competition in the City Section began with the 1988-89 season and three area teams have won titles.
Chatsworth has won seven of the girls’ championships, while Grant took two titles and Monroe one.
