Education Foundation to Seek Gifts All Year

It will look much like any other Christmas party, but the Orange Education Foundation is hoping that the gifts continue pouring in throughout the year.
The new fund-raising board, which has been months in the planning stages, will kick off its campaign Saturday with a holiday gala at the Villa Park High School gymnasium.
Eventually, foundation organizers hope to raise thousands of dollars for Orange Unified School District campuses as a supplement to the lean budgets built on state funding and taxes.
The party, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., includes a gift boutique, activities for children and music.
But that’s just for Christmas.
Memberships in the foundation run from $25 for the Favorite Teacher’s Club to $5,000 to be a Distinguished Friend of Education.
Admission is free to the event at the high school, 18042 Taft Ave. Information: (714) 997-6221.
