* 1960 Olympic decathlon champion Rafer Johnson of Sherman Oaks will be honored with the Namaste Award at a benefit dinner on Nov. 15 at the Pickwick Entertainment Center in Burbank. Johnson is chairman of the Board of Governors for the California Special Olympics. The Namaste Award celebrates the finest in human spirit. It’s given by The Namaste Interfaith Center.
