The Calabasas water polo tournament, which includes eight teams from the region in a 12-team field, enters its second day of pool play today at Calabasas High.
Competition begins at 2:30 p.m. with Thousand Oaks playing Westlake. At 3:20 p.m., La Canada faces Oxnard. Westlake plays Santa Ynez at 4:10 p.m., with Oxnard and Nordhoff playing at 5 p.m., Thousand Oaks taking on Santa Ynez at 5:50 p.m., and La Canada playing Nordhoff at 6:40 p.m.
Other events in the region today include:
Men’s soccer: At 4 p.m., Cal State Northridge in Santa Clara tournament; at 8 p.m., Glendale at Golden West.
Women’s soccer: At 4 p.m., Cuesta vs. Glendale at Griffith Park Soccer Complex, Rancho Santiago at Moorpark, Ventura at Oxnard, The Master’s at Claremont; at 7 p.m., Weber State at CS Northridge.
Women’s volleyball: At 6 p.m., L.A. City at Pierce; at 7:30 p.m., The Master’s at La Verne.
Girls’ tennis: At 3 p.m., Desert at Antelope Valley, La Reina at Simi Valley; at 3:15 p.m., Burbank at La Canada.
Girls’ volleyball: At 3:30 p.m., Holy Martyrs vs. L.A. Lutheran at Lake View Terrace Recreation Center; at 4 p.m., Antelope Valley Christian at Immanuel Christian; at 4:30 p.m., Lancaster Desert Christian at Bethel Christian; at 5:30 p.m., Sliverado at Littlerock; at 6:30 p.m., Moorpark at St. Bonaventure, Harvard-Westlake at Fountain Valley; Westlake in Durango (Las Vegas) tournament.
