Shares of the month-old DLJ High Yield Bond Fund fell Monday after the fund’s primary investment manager, 49-year-old Lars Berkman, was found dead over the weekend. The closed-end fund slid 44 cents, or 4.4%, to $9.56 in heavy trading of 3 million shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc. said John Lindars, chief investment officer for DLJ Investment Management, was named interim portfolio manager for the $425-million fund.
