Rail Line Sound Barriers

Re “MTA to Begin Work on Sound Barriers,” Jan. 26.
In its latest sneak attack, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority proposes to fill the Chandler corridor from Colfax Avenue in Valley Village to the Hollywood Freeway with unsightly railroad tracks, vehicles and, worst of all, a very tall sound wall that will cut off any views and create noise and dirt for the tenants and owners for years to come. It will ruin property values for years.
The MTA has destroyed and disrupted a good part of our city with a useless subway with astronomical costs to us taxpayers. They are still collecting huge amounts of our sales tax money and squandering it.
Where will it end?
I’m pretty mad about this. Is anyone else out there?
