Furon Grows in Europe

LAGUNA NIGUEL — Expanding its beverage tubing business in Europe, Furon Co. said Monday that it has acquired privately owned Premier Python Products Ltd. of England. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Premier, with a satellite plant in Atlanta, has annual worldwide sales of approximately $10 million. The company’s products target the beverage market, which uses polymer tubing to transport soda, beer and other beverages from remote storage tanks to dispensing units.
Furon also announced it has sold its Felsted operations to Felsted Products LLC, an affiliate of Orscheln Products LLC of Moberly, Mo. Terms of that transaction also were not disclosed. Furon makes polymer components for the industrial and health care markets.
