David Neill, known more for his passing in football, made six three-point shots en route to a 24-point performance that helped give Hart High a 55-53 victory Tuesday night at Canyon and kept the Indians atop the Foothill League boys’ basketball standings.
J.T. Stotts, who scored 19 points, made a three-point play with 37 seconds left to give the Indians (15-8, 6-1 in league play) a 55-50 lead.
Canyon (10-13, 2-5) received a three-pointer from Mike Reardon with 25 seconds left to close to within 55-53.
