In Century League wrestling:

Foothill 36, Orange 35--Kevin Lowery and Jim Gominsky pinned their opponents to lead Foothill (1-3).

In Century League girls’ water polo:

No. 8 Villa Park 10, El Modena 3--Kristyn Pulver scored five goals and added an assist for the visiting Spartans (18-5, 3-0).

No. 10 Foothill 7, Canyon 5--Foothill outscored host Canyon, 5-2, in the third quarter to take a two-goal lead.

Daylene Coberly and Jackie Pirro scored both their goals in the third quarter and Trisha Graf had the other for the second-place Knights (12-7, 3-1).

In Orange League girls’ water polo:

Brea Olinda 8, Magnolia 7--Laura Piroutek scored the winning goal with 28 seconds remaining for Brea Olinda (11-9, 5-1), which moved into a tie for first with the Sentinels.

Brea goalkeeper Jenice Ewald had 14 saves, including a blocked penalty shot in the third period when the score was tied, 6-6.

Valencia 8, Savanna 6--Tiffani Clark scored two of her three goals in the third quarter when host Valencia outscored Savanna, 5-3, to take a two-goal lead.

In South Coast League girls’ water polo:

Mission Viejo 6, Dana Hills 5--Nancy Esses scored the winning goal with less than two minutes remaining for Mission Viejo (7-11, 3-1).
