Spotlight: Rockwell Chairman Beall Hands Reins to Davis

Rockwell International Corp. Chairman Donald R. Beall, 59, formally handed over the reins to his successor as Rockwell’s board of directors elected Don H. Davis chairman at the Costa Mesa-based company’s annual meeting. Davis succeeded Beall as chief executive in October. Beall announced his retirement in July. Rockwell also said it donated $1.5 million to UC Irvine to create a high-technology multimedia education and research center in honor of Beall and his wife, Joan.
