Police have released a sketch of a man they say abducted two young girls as they left an elementary school playground.
The cousins, ages 5 and 9, were leaving Sun View Elementary School about 6 p.m. Tuesday, police said. While they walked along the flood channel near Silver Lane and Juliette Low Drive, the man grabbed the older girl around the waist and covered her mouth, then carried her to some construction equipment, police said.
He forced the girls to stay there and committed a sex act in front of them, police said. He then fled through the schoolyard and the girls ran home, police said.
The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, about 6-foot-2,with a thin build, brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a dark-blue jacket, white T-shirt, dark pants and red boxer shorts, as well as a silver ring on his left middle finger, police said.
Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call police at (714) 375-5066.
