Volunteers Wanted to Help Patients
Assisted Home Hospice is looking for volunteers who can aid terminally ill patients and their family members.
Those who have at least four extra hours a week are asked to consider giving that time for hospice work in both Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
“Hospice really celebrates the quality of life,” said Susan Rice, the organization’s vice president.
Volunteers can spend time with patients, help them run errands or assist with office paperwork.
Those interested should call (800) 222-1002.
