Brunch Proceeds to Benefit Library

An “author’s brunch” to raise money to buy new books for Placentia Library will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Alta Vista Country Club, 777 Alta Vista St.
Featured will be Barbara Seranella, the Laguna Beach author of “No Human Involved.”
The event is hosted by the Friends of Placentia Library. Tickets cost $25 each and may be purchased at the library at 411 E. Chapman Ave. in the Civic Center complex. Information: (714) 528-1925, Ext. 203.
