Community Forum to Feature Council Candidates

In an attempt to familiarize residents with the candidates in next month’s City Council election, the El Segundo Chamber of Commerce will hold a community forum March 31.
City Councilwoman Jane Friedken and challengers Kelly McDowell and John Gaines will run for two open council seats in the April 14 election. Councilman Liam Weston did not seek reelection, leaving his position open.
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. in the El Segundo Unified School District Board Room, 641 Sheldon St.
