Chapman to Host NCAA Softball Regional

Chapman’s softball team will host the NCAA Division III West Regional tournament at Hart Park in Orange Thursday through Sunday. The top-seeded Panthers (31-6) received a first-round bye in the double-elimination tournament.

Thursday, fourth-seeded St. Thomas (Minn.) plays fifth-seeded Lawrence (Wis.) at 2 p.m. with the winner playing Chapman at 4 p.m. Second-seeded Cal Lutheran plays No. 3-seeded Buena Vista (Iowa) at 2 p.m. Games will be played at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. each day.
