Simi Valley Free Clinic to Honor Hospital Chief

The Free Clinic of Simi Valley will honor Alan Rice, president and chief executive of Simi Valley Hospital & Health Care Services, with its 1998 Spirit Award for his contributions to the community and support of the clinic.
Rice will be recognized at the clinic’s 27th anniversary dinner celebration Saturday at the Clarion Posada Royale, 1775 Madera Road in Simi Valley.
The Free Clinic is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that provides medical care, counseling and legal assistance to individuals regardless of their ability to pay. It primarily serves eastern Ventura County.
Tickets for the banquet range from $75 for individuals to $1,000 for corporate-sponsored tables. Reservations are available from Darla d’Agay at (805) 583-1283.
