Xircom’s PC Card Wins Magazine Editors’ Award

The RealPort Integrated PC Card by Xircom in Thousand Oaks has won the Editors’ Choice award at the CM Corporate magazine gala in the Netherlands.
The RealPort is a PC card featuring built-in connectors that eliminate the worries of broken, lost or forgotten cables and broken pop-out jacks--the No. 1 problem facing PC card users today.
“Sometimes the genius is in a small addition, a seemingly small improvement,” the CM Corporate editors report says. “The editors of CM Corporate went ‘back to basics’ for this award and chose a product that will significantly simplify the lives of notebook users. We give the prize to a company that puts an end to additional pieces of hardware, extra cables or all those other things that can be broken or forgotten.”
The RealPort will be available May 15 in the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia Pacific regions and major European countries at a suggested retail price of $399.
