Applications Sought for City Arts Boards

The city will be accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Simi Valley Arts Center Foundation Board and the Simi Valley Arts Commission.
The city needs one person to serve a four-year term on the foundation board beginning in July.
The person would be responsible for organizing fund-raisers to help support the operations and maintenance of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center.
The city is also accepting applications from residents interested in serving two-year terms on the arts commission, which oversees the operations and programming of the arts center.
Applicants must be available to meet the third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m.
The deadline for applying is 5 p.m. Friday.
Applications for all positions may be obtained from the Community Services Department at 3855-A Alamo St. or by calling 583-6758.
