Driver, 19, Is Fatally Shot

PALMDALE — A 19-year-old man was shot to death while driving Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Oscar Borboa of Littlerock was driving south on 50th Street East near Avenue P-8 when he was shot once in the upper body, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Joan Raber.
Borboa’s car, which careened off the road, was sighted in a nearby field by a passing motorist who called the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station about 8 a.m., Raber said. Homicide detectives have no leads on possible suspects, she said.
