The City Council has set dates for four budget study sessions in anticipation of adopting a budget for next fiscal year by June 30, officials said.
At Monday night’s meeting, the council agreed to hold study sessions from 7 to 10 p.m. on May 27, June 4, June 9 and June 11, said Eric Shapiro, assistant chief administrative officer.
The estimated total budget for the 1998-99 fiscal year is $76 million, Shapiro said.
The budget study sessions, which are open to the public, will be held in the Dan Patacchia Conference Room on the first floor of City Hall, 9770 Culver Blvd.
