Barbeques Galore Ltd.: The Irvine barbecue store chain incurred a first-quarter net loss of $524,000, or 12 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $245,000, or 5 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales for the quarter ended April 30 increased 3% to $24.4 million from $23.6 million. The company completed its initial public stock offering in November.
