Boy, 7, Honored for Raising $4,000-Plus

Austin Seedman, 7, has received a top award from the Alexander Graham Bell Assn. for the Deaf by raising more than $4,000 for diabetes research.
Austin, who has juvenile diabetes and is hearing-impaired, raised the money for the 1997 Walk to Cure Diabetes, sponsored by the association.
Austin attends Anneliese School in Laguna Niguel, where he studies several foreign languages.
