Faith Baptist Is No. 2 in Eight-Man Playoffs

Faith Baptist High (8-0) is seeded second behind Rio Hondo Prep (7-1) in the Southern Section Eight-Man Large Schools Division football playoffs starting Friday.
The Contenders, Heritage League champions, are one of four teams with a bye in the first round and will play the winner of the game between Lancaster Bethel Christian (5-3) and Liberty Christian (6-3) in the quarterfinals Nov. 20.
Grace Brethren (6-3) will host Santa Maria Valley Christian (5-3) in a first-round game, and Viewpoint (6-2) plays at Cuyama Valley (7-1).
