Kennedy 24, Cleveland 18--James Norris scored twice as the Golden Cougars (7-3, 5-2) posted a victory at Cleveland.
Norris caught four passes for 84 yards, including a 25-yard scoring play, and returned a kickoff 90 yards for what proved to be the game-winning touchdown with 10:32 left in the game.
James Bethea ran for 179 yards and two touchdowns in 25 carries in a losing cause for the Cavaliers (2-7, 1-5).
Cleveland quarterback Eddie Whitaker was sacked six times for minus-73 yards. The Cavaliers were penalized nine times for 100 yards.
