In another Channel League opener:

Buena 20, Dos Pueblos 10--Kyle Loughman passed for 225 yards and two touchdowns and the Bulldogs (4-3, 2-0) rallied for a victory at San Marcos High.

Dos Pueblos (2-5, 0-2) took the lead on the game’s opening drive on Tyler Fredrickson’s 30-yard field goal.

Buena answered with D.J. Blackbledge’s one-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter, but Dos Pueblos regained the lead on Jason Sutherland’s 25-yard scoring run.

Buena took a 13-10 lead on Loughman’s 57-yard touchdown pass to Steven Howard late in the second quarter.

The Bulldogs added an insurance touchdown on Loughman’s 12-yard pass to Cody Murphy in the fourth quarter.

Freddie Keiaho rushed for 115 yards in 22 carries for Buena.
