The City Council recently renewed the city’s contract with the Orange County Fire Authority for one year, ending June 30, 2000. Along with Garden Grove, Stanton and Westminster, the city last year approved a fire services feasibility study that concluded that the cities could save money by creating their own smaller fire department. Another study will investigate the matter further in the near future.
