Safety tips for seniors will be the topic of the Senior Safety Academy, a four-week program sponsored by the Irvine Police Department and Groves Mobile Home Park. The free program will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays, beginning Sept. 2 at the Groves Mobile Home Park clubhouse at 5200 Irvine Blvd. The program’s purpose is to educate seniors about crime and fraud affecting individuals over age 55.
