In pool play at the Norco tournament:
Canyon 56, Redlands 40--Trish Christian scored 20 points for Canyon.
In the Riverside La Sierra tournament:
Fairmont 44, Glendale Adventist 41--Sonia Hilson’s layup with 47 seconds remaining put Fairmont (7-2) up by one and Shari Tanizawa made two free throws with seven seconds remaining to seal the victory.
In nonleague girls’ soccer:
No. 9 Marina 3, Loara 1--Erin Droeger, Amanda Gonzalez and Chelsea Davis each scored for Marina (6-2). Courtney Ronald scored for Loara (7-1).
Canyon 3, Long Beach Millikan 1--Kim Jents scored twice for host Canyon (7-3-1), including the winning goal in the first half. Millikan drops to 4-4.
El Modena 4, Norco 3--Juanita Lowson scored the winning goal with a minute to play, and Vicki Bloom scored her 10th goal for visiting El Modena (4-2-2).
