The Recreation and Park District invites aspiring children ages 6 to 12 to take art lessons Tuesdays beginning Jan. 11 through Feb. 15 at the Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave.
Students will learn the basics of line and shape drawing. They will also learn different art mediums and study the works of famous artists.
Each child will create a portfolio of their work to show their parents at the end of the session. The cost is $35 per child. Information: (714) 229-6780.
