Kelly Murray, a freshman guard at UC Irvine, has left the team, Coach Mark Adams said.
Murray, a 5-8 point guard, was averaging 1.3 points and played in all nine games, averaging 6.5 minutes. She returned to her parents’ home in Ventura, where she played at Buena High.
The Anteaters are left with only two point guards, senior Megan Stafford, the team’s leading scorer, and walk-on Kai Ito.
Murray averaged 12 points and four assists at Buena and was an All-Ventura County selection.
