Sheriff’s deputies have arrested two suspects in connection with a home-invasion robbery and stabbing that left a man in critical condition.
Ventura resident Todd Kinnamon, 39, was arrested Friday night as he was walking along North Ventura Avenue, and Starla Baker, 29, also of Ventura, was arrested Friday night at a motel on Harbor Boulevard.
Deputies recovered the stolen property, including a car and other evidence linked to the Thursday morning robbery on Floral Drive.
Kinnamon and Baker were booked into county jail on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery. Bail for each has been set at $250,000.
The victim, Michael Stevens, 34, underwent surgery for stab wounds Friday at Ventura County Medical Center. He was still in critical condition Saturday and was transferred to another county hospital.
Authorities would not say whether Stevens knows the suspects.
