Loyola Marymount 88, Santa Clara 76--Haywood Eaddy had 23 points and Willie Allen added 22 the Lions won a WCC game at Gersten Pavilion.
The Lions (7-9, 2-2) matched last season’s victory total and extended their home-court winning streak to five games, their longest since the 1991-92 season.
Eaddy added eight assists and five rebounds as Loyola won back-to-back conference games for the first time since the 1995-96 season.
The Broncos (6-10, 2-2) failed to win at either Pepperdine or Loyola Marymount for the first time since the 1989-90 season.
Alex Lopez led Santa Clara with a career-high 20 points. Delano D’Oyen and Nathan Fast added 11 points each and Todd Wuschnig, Darrell Teat and reserve Brian Vaka scored 10 points apiece for the Broncos.
