A basketball clinic will be held at the Lasorda Field House on Feb. 15, which happens to be a Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District student day off. For a $25 fee, Sandy “Spin” Slade will teach second- through fifth-graders from 9 a.m. to noon, and then sixth- through 12th-graders from 1 to 4 p.m. The fee includes a T-shirt, basketball and instruction manual.
