Second Time Around in the Orange Empire

Before Orange Empire Conference play started, Irvine Valley women’s Coach Julie Hanks figured her team would finish fourth. Despite an 11-game winning streak and a one-game lead at the halfway point, Hanks still maintains her team is not the favorite. The Saddleback men’s team is ahead by a game and is trying to win its first conference title since 1996.
