The City Council recently recognized Police Sgt. Ronald K. Lesovsky for his 28 years of service to the city. Lesovsky retired last month after spending his career as a dispatcher, officer, corporal and sergeant. He is the only Los Alamitos police officer to earn Officer of the Year honors twice in his career. Councilman Charles E. Sylvia pointed out that Lesovsky always wore a smile while on duty.
