More than 300 people were on hand at the Savannah Chop House restaurant recently to celebrate the first birthday of the Baby Alumni Club of Saddleback Women’s Hospital. A total of $2,000 was raised at the Sunday brunch, part of a series of summer events intended to raise awareness of newborns and their parents in south Orange County. Proceeds from the sale of the Chop House’s “Southern Decadence” dessert will be donated to the alumni club to help fund medical equipment and prenatal and parenting skills classes.
